Narrative
While designers are expected to tell compelling stories about their work, writing case studies often becomes the most exhausting part of the process.I noticed that many designers spend weeks refining their projects—but rush through documenting them. The problem isn’t lack of skill. It’s the cognitive load of structuring, formatting, and translating work into a narrative that feels both personal and professional. That tension became the starting point for Narrative.

Problem
How might we simplify writing and building case studies in one seamless flow?
Outcome
Designed Narrative, a generative-AI powered web app that helps users craft, polish, and publish case studies with minimal friction.
Instead of starting from a blank page, users begin with structured prompts, receive AI-generated drafts they can fully edit, and export their case studies directly to a website-ready format, without worrying about layout or hierarchy.
Final Design
Create case studies, build them with AI assistance and directly publish them to your website.
Importing or creating case study with templates
Lets users upload an existing case study or start quickly using ready-made templates.
Direct Website Intergration
Allows users to publish or export their case studies directly to their website without rebuilding content.
AI Assisted Content Generation
Helps users generate a structured draft that they can edit and personalize in their own voice.
The Process
To create a novel product, I assessed what gaps existed in the market
Impact
Recognized for strategic thinking and system-level design
What stood out was the response from Prof. Michael Posso, who viewed Narrative less as a concept and more as a buildable product. He was particularly drawn to the web-app approach and the practical application of Gen-AI, and expressed interest in seeing it developed beyond the classroom. That feedback mattered because it validated something I was aiming for from the start: Narrative wasn’t just solving a theoretical UX problem—it addressed a real, recurring workflow gap designers face in the industry.

Reflections
This project changed how I think about personalization!
Designing for AI
Ensuring AI-generated content remains useful and customizable was crucial. Users needed flexibility to edit and refine AI-generated case studies to match their unique voices.
User-Centered Iteration
Continuous testing and user feedback played a vital role in refining the interface and improving usability.
